Phosphates

Profi Fos are phosphate complexes used for various food industries. Profi Fos increase the water-binding and emulsifying capacities of muscle tissue proteins, improve the consistency and juiciness of meat products, have a high sequestration capacity (binding of calcium and magnesium ions), and also inhibit oxidative processes in foods.

One part of Profi Fos products also act as melting salts and are used in the production of cheese.
